The Safeguarding Adults Training Programme has recently been revised to take account of the Care Act changes, and also feedback from previous course participants. As a result, the following changes have been made to the courses:
- Courses now have new titles and revised content
- Raising A Safeguarding Referral and Multi-Agency Roles in the Safeguarding Process now incorporate the Threshold Tool Guidance, which used to be delivered as a seperate half-day course
- Mental Capacity Act 2005 & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLs) - these were originally two half day courses; they are now one full day course
There is no face to face training for Safeguarding Adults Basic Awarenesss. Alternative training resources for this, are available via a e-learning module and a workbook. Details of both can be obtained if you call the office.
