Welcome to the Access into Care Employment Network
The ACE network (Access into Care Employment) is a transparent, forward looking and proactive network within learning disabilities, autism and mental Health. Over the past eight years the network has developed and been strengthened by the members contributions and their willingness to share good practice and training.
The ACE network is employer lead with closed and open meetings. The closed board represents the views and ideas of the network and the members generously give their time to ensure we engage with inspirational and enthusiastic speakers and training providers who are occupational competent.
Open board meetings take place three times a year when all members of staff are invited to come along and have the opportunity to network, take part in discussions and gain information from guest speakers.
We have a membership of 40 organizations within North Tyneside and Newcastle and we offer our members support with workforce development, guidance relating to legislation, updates on regional and national strategies and support with updating their NMDS.
To meet employer requirement and to keep up to date with new initiative and training needs, we organise training and seminars and work closely with and support the Local Authority, Community Learning Disability Team and the NHS. We work with our members to research new projects and welcome member’s suggestions and feedback on how we can best support their needs.
To extend our provision of training to our members during 2012, we have agreed to “work together” with The Meadows, Waterville Road, North Shields NE29 6BA who will be hosting our training programme, this will enable your Network Development Office to concentrate on arranging network seminars.
The ACE network welcomes new members and any learning disability, autism and mental health organizations within TWCA are welcome to come along to our open meetings and seminars.
