Welcome to the Newcastle Network
The Newcastle Network offers support to over 150 employers in the care sector covering - Home Care, Residential/Nursing, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.
The network has a closed board of 14 members of which the Chair is Sharon Hepple from St Mary Magdalene and Holy Jesus Trust. Sharon also represents the Newcastle Network on the Strategic Partnership. The board meets 4 times a year of which 2 of the meetings have guest speakers and are open to employers - these are usually May and November.
We offer our members support with workforce development, facilitation and provision of training, information, advice and guidance relating to legislation, regional and national strategies together with support around recruitment from our pre employment training programmes.
We work closely with the Local Authority and the NHS to support the employers with initiatives facilitated by them.
We are always looking for new projects that will benefit our members and welcome your suggestions and feedback on how we can best support your needs.
We look forward to continued partnership working with both existing and new members.
