Welcome to the North Tyneside Network

The North Tyneside Network is an inclusive and transparent network which offers support to around 60 employers in the care sector covering - Home Care, Residential/Nursing and voluntary organisations. We offer our members support with workforce development, facilitation and provision of training, information, advice and guidance relating to legislation, regional and national strategies.

Over the past eight years the network has evolved and is continuing to grow. To meet the needs of the members, the network has introduced a closed board. Their responsibility is to plan meetings, speakers, short course training and support their network development officer to meet the needs of the members.

We have three planned open network meetings a year and if necessary introduce further meetings if requested. These meetings give members an opportunity to network, identify training and discuss issues relating to legislation and new initiatives, gain support from other members, share best practice and training, along with benefiting from the wealth and expertise of key speakers invited at our member’s request.

To keep up to-date with new initiative, we work closely with and support the Local Authority and the NHS. We work with our members to research new projects and welcome member’s suggestions and feedback on how we can best support their needs.

North Tyneside Network welcomes new members and ideas and will continually strive to support the members to enrich peoples live.
